Hallo!

I’m Evy, a passionate language teacher originally from Belgium, now living in beautiful Aotearoa New Zealand. With a degree in teaching and years of experience guiding students online, I’ve helped learners from all over the world feel more confident speaking Dutch.

One of the things I love most about my work is teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re a parent raising bilingual kids, a partner of a Dutch speaker, an adventurer moving to Belgium or the Netherlands, or just someone curious about the language, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Alongside my online lessons, I’ve been working for several years with the Dutch School Auckland, where I teach native-speaking children how to read and write in Dutch. It’s incredibly rewarding to help children strengthen and maintain their connection to the Dutch language.

I started my online Dutch teaching journey right here in New Zealand, combining my love for language with a warm, personal approach. Learning a language should feel natural and enjoyable, and that’s exactly what I aim for in my lessons. Van harte welkom!
